2. Pre-visit checks:We confirm parking, access (driveway, side gate, or narrow alley), and whether a standard van or specialist equipment is needed.
3. Arrival & onsite work:Our crew arrives in the booked slot with gloves, bags or crates, and a hand-hauled trolley if needed. We load the waste directly into the van, keeping mess minimal and sweeping the area if requested.
4. Disposal confirmation:The waste is taken to a licensed composting or green waste processing facility in the West Midlands. You receive a waste transfer note for your records.
5. Payment:Invoice on arrival or in advance by card, depending on your preference. No hidden charges for difficult access — it's all quoted upfront.

All green waste we collect is classified under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and handled as controlled waste. Your waste is taken to a licensed facility operating under an environmental permit or PAS 100 compost standard, where it undergoes windrow composting or anaerobic digestion. You'll receive a waste transfer note at the point of collection — a legal document that tracks your waste from your garden to its final destination and gives you compliance proof if ever needed.

We're a licensed waste carrier registered with the Environment Agency, so you can be confident the material isn't fly-tipped or illegally burned. Many of our processing partners produce soil conditioner or compost pellets that's sold back to landscapers and garden centres, completing the circular loop. Some councils in the West Midlands offer a green waste exemption (U13) for very small domestic quantities, but commercial or high-volume removals require full tracking — we handle all of that paperwork, so you don't have to.

One fixed fee covers labour (two-person crew), vehicle, all collection equipment (bags, trolleys, crates), loading, transport, and licensed disposal with a waste transfer note. We take grass clippings, hedge trimmings, leaves, small branches, flower stems, bark, and garden cuttings — essentially anything that would break down naturally in a compost heap.

Edge cases: if your trimmings are bagged, we open and load them to save van space; if branches exceed 4 metres length or require a chainsaw to cut, we'll quote separately or recommend a tree surgeon. Dismantling garden structures (fences, sheds) isn't included — that's carpentry work. A sweep-and-tidy of scattered debris is included for domestic gardens under 500 square metres; larger commercial clearances are quoted per square metre. Wood pallets, treated timber, and hardwood offcuts are excluded (they need specialist recycling). We don't take food waste, soil, or hardcore — only compostable plant material.
