When you book a loft clearance service with us, one fee covers the full job: two or more operatives, all necessary equipment (ladders, bags, PPE), removal of your loft contents, and legal disposal or recycling. We'll dismantle flat-pack shelving, bag insulation and debris, sweep and tidy the space once emptied, and provide a waste transfer note for your records.
We handle stairs safely — we don't just throw items over railings. If your loft access is a fold-down ladder, we'll work carefully to prevent damage. Heavy items like old mattresses, rolled carpets, or cast-iron pipes are included. We'll also note any visible asbestos-containing materials (such as AIB Artex or fibrous board) and advise you before removal; specialist disposal of asbestos insulation requires licensed contractors, which we can arrange or recommend.
What we don't do: we won't remove hazardous waste (oils, paint, chemicals) or buried roof timbers that are part of the building structure. We'll flag these during the survey so you know what's what.
