Call before midday and same-day collection is usually possible, with next-day slots readily available. Without a skip delivery and a permit in the chain, the lead time is normally hours rather than days. Full property clearances that need multiple loads are best booked a few days ahead so the right vehicle and crew are allocated.

Lichfield ranges from narrow city-centre streets and period terraces with no off-road parking through to larger properties and newer estates further out. Restricted parking and pedestrianised stretches near the centre mean timing matters, so we schedule those collections to avoid the busiest parts of the day and use a vehicle that can get close. Everything we collect goes to a licensed transfer station or recycling facility — we are a registered waste carrier and can evidence the chain. Loads are sorted so timber, metal and other recoverable materials are pulled out rather than tipped. Fridges, freezers and electrical items are handled under WEEE rules. We cannot carry asbestos, gas cylinders, wet paint, solvents, oils or clinical waste, and will point you to the right specialist if any of it appears on the day.

A waste transfer note is issued for every collection. Keep hold of it — the duty of care to show your waste reached an authorised facility sits with you as the producer, and the note is the evidence.
